Ralph Korte Stadium
SIUE Soccer games are held on Bob Guelker Field at the Ralph Korte Stadium on campus. The field was named after Robert (Bob) Guelker, who passed away after the 1985 season. Guelker, who was an Olympic coach, led SIUE to two national titles, including the first Division II title in 1972 and the University’s first NCAA Division I crown in 1979.


Location
Korte Stadium is located in the Southwest corner of SIUE's campus on Bluff Road. Traveling from downtown St Louis to the SIUE facilities takes around 20 minutes.
Stadium Details
Bob Guelker Field is a 73 yard wide by 120 yard long state of the art artificial turf surface. This lighted stadium allows training to be held at all hours of the day and has a seating capacity of 3,000 people.
There is grass training grounds behind the stadium that are also lighted available for use if needed.


Supporting Facilities and Equipment
Underneath the stadium are both the men’s and women’s locker rooms available for changing and restroom privileges. Also below the stadium is a full training room facility for campers use in case of possible injury or needed treatment.
The stadium is equipped with a press box and skybox rooms for VIPs. The SIUE Scoreboard is 40X96 matrix board used for time and score purposes.
