Junior Academy Residential Camp
Boys Ages 10-13
Camp Price - $360 Resident/$260 Commuter
July 15-18, 2012

Junior Academy Camp Overview
The Junior Academy Camp is designed with younger players in mind.  The camp focuses on developing and refining the technical skills needed to play at the highest level.  It is designed for players ages 10-13 and combines technical training, coordination training, small-sided games and full-sided games in a quality teaching environment.

We have put together top-level coaches from the professional, collegiate, club and high school ranks for this camp.  Our staff knows how to train and interact with younger players who want to reach the next level.  Individual and small group activities allowing players maximum time on the ball will be part of the daily curriculum.

Campers will be put through many of the same activities used by the SIUE Cougars Men’s Soccer Team.

All campers will each receive a Nike camp T-shirt and a practice planner to help with individual development.

Goalkeeping Program
Come see why SIUE goalkeepers are making their presence felt on the national and international stage.  Goalkeeping Director Brian Jones will lead specialized goalkeeping sessions which will place players in an environment that allows them to experience the major technical, tactical, psychological and physical components of this important position.  Individual and small group training is the basis of the goalkeeping program; however, we don’t stop there.

Small-sided and full- sided games will provide opportunities to put new and improved technical skills to the test.  Experience is a goalkeeper’s best friend, and these match-related exercises and games will provide that much- needed experience.   Our elite staff of goalkeeper coaches will challenge their students and provide the level of teaching required for this unique position.
